WB API Updates – March 2025

In March, we introduced several important updates to our API. Here’s a breakdown of the key changes in our monthly update series

Product Management

Specify Product Weight in Kilograms

The gross weight of a product, including packaging, must now be specified exclusively via the weightBrutto parameter (always in kilograms). The old method of using the characteristics array was deprecated on March 31.

This simplification and standardization will help reduce errors and confusion when entering product information. Providing accurate weight data improves logistics planning and delivery cost calculations.

FBS and DBS Orders

Easily Identify B2B Sales

A new isB2B attribute has been added to the order assembly tasks for both FBS and DBS models, allowing you to distinguish between B2B and B2C orders.

This feature makes it easier to track B2B sales separately, optimize logistics, and build targeted sales strategies for corporate clients.

DBS Orders

Dedicated API Section

As of March 17, assembly tasks for DBS are only available via the separate “DBS Orders” API section. You can no longer access them through the FBS methods.

This separation helps streamline integrations and reduces the risk of errors when processing orders.

Reports

Unified Approach to Warehouse Inventory

Fields related to product movement (inWayToClientinWayFromClient) and total stock (quantityWarehousesFull) are now integrated into the warehouses array.

This unified structure simplifies tracking inventory and product movement, making analytics and supply planning more efficient.

Click & Collect

New API for Item Reservation

A new API section has been introduced to support the Click & Collect model. Customers can now reserve items online and pick them up in-store.

This feature aims to attract more customers who prefer self-pickup while reducing your logistics costs and boosting customer loyalty.

DBS

New Method for Precise Delivery Timing

A new method provides the exact delivery date and time. The old fields (ddatedTimeFromdTimeTo) will be deprecated on April 9.

With this update, you can enhance customer service by giving more precise delivery information.

Analytics & Data

Download Stock History via API

The “Stock History” report can now be downloaded via API, with detailed breakdowns by warehouse and region.

This new tool improves decision-making through faster analytics based on accurate and up-to-date data, enhancing inventory management.

Marketing & Promotions

Flexible Bid Management

A new API method allows you to update product ad bids. The old method will be disabled on April 27.

With this, you can quickly adjust bids to improve the performance of your advertising campaigns.

IMEI for Smartphones

New Mandatory Requirements

Starting May 2025, providing the IMEI for smartphones will be mandatory for the FBS model. These requirements will also apply to the API from June.

This change helps protect customers from counterfeit devices and prevents issues during product intake.

Now Generated Asynchronously

The latest version of the paid acceptance report is now generated asynchronously, improving stability and performance for large data volumes.

You’ll be able to access reports reliably and quickly at any time, optimizing financial control and planning.
